which is thrilling.. the first day as a preparators assistant at umma i helped install the Sugimoto exhibit, and hung Idyllic Retreats in Chinese Landscape paintings, scroll paintings, which are up to eight feet in scroll. all up in their scrolls.. no sitting here, lots of tape and ladder pushing and measuring- lots of measuring, and leveling. my first half hour there i had already stuck a nail into my finger .. totally.
