Augmented Records and Issues is a collection of musical projects.

Augmented has thus far released one 7” vinyl record- telegraph series’, Meet Me in Iceland, in February of 2007, and it is available for purchase in the Issues. Little Fires

I (Allison Stanley) began posting Little Fires songs when I moved from Chicago to Ann Arbor on New Years Day of 06. At the time I had sold off or left my recording equipment behind, and with me had very few instruments. Little Fires began as a project about musical sketching, and seems to have become more like an experiment in recording.

Summer 2008’s song thus far is a description of squinting, called reminder

Spring’s (2008) songs are called city hours.

Fall’s (2007) songs are called a quiet falls in the other room. Most of dont stop now was actually recorded over a year ago, but I finished it this autumn. I am no longer using just the computer mic to record.

Autumn’s (2006) record is titled a thousand voices. i recorded this collection like summer’s, simply on a portable computer with its external mic. i haven’t rustled up any new fancy plug ins or microphones. (i finally rigged my bass to play through the stereo. yay)

you, me is project of Stephen Favazza (guitar) and Allison Stanley (drums, voice) from the Chicago summer of 2007. Stephen, having recently left Chicago for St. Louis, is now working on his solo record ‘Casino Action’, on which Allison will play - so you, me will re incarnate somehow. the completion of that record is summer 2008.

This piece is from a live show. It tells the story of a widowed gentleman describing the loss of his wife to his parakeet.

From Chicago, the archivists are a band that existed throughout the stuffy summer and autumn of 2005. Compiled of various people from various backgrounds, the archivists managed to record one spirited record called paper shoe. The tape reel ran out exactly at the end of fiction for flowers. Listen to the record here! (paper shoe is an online release, posted in 2007)

Fields of Industry began several years ago, and that beginning had nothing to do with me. Josh Barton, Eric Gallippo and Joel Schrauben are responsible for this lovely music. I met them last year and play drums with them whenever it makes sense.
